At one point in time Florida alligator populations were so low that laws were enabled to protect them from hunters. Now, there are over 1 million alligators across the state. This porcelain holiday ornament has been designed exclusively for our ceramics department by nationally renowned clay artist, Sang Roberson, and produced by our program participants at United Cerebral Palsy of East Central Florida in Daytona Beach. This is the sixteenth in an annual, limited edition series and proclaimed as the Official Holiday Ornament for the City of Daytona Beach. This year's ornament is graciously sponsored by The Pilot Club of the Halifax Area.
